Entry fee £65 for either day or £110 for 2 days. £15 OEL if needed. £5 per night parking

SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS   (please keep this info)

VENUE:- Lossiemouth forest Lossiemouth Forest, on the B9103, signposted with orange arrows from the A96.  If coming from the Aberdeen direction the arrow will be on the A96 past Lhanbryde, if coming from the West the arrow will be approx 1.25miles past Elgin on the A96.

Please observe a speed limit of 15mph on the untarred forestry roads and do not block them in any way.

Overnighting: there is NO overnighting by competitors allowed in the forest alternative arrangement has been made with local MX club, parking will be available there for a small fee payable with entry.

Sign on 8:45am First man away 10:30 on Saturday. 10:00 on Sunday.

Machines should be brought to start line 15mins before start time.

Although there will be no formal scrutineering, HEC Ltd. reserve the right to withhold the right to start if a motorcycle is deemed to be unsafe.

ENTRIES & FEES :- Will not be returned unless the event is cancelled or a rider gives a valid reason for not riding at least 3 days prior to the event. In such cases £10 may be deducted to cover costs.  Any rider not signing on, on the day, without good reason will forfeit his entry fee in full

HELMETS :- Gold or silver A.C.U. current stamped helmets must be worn.

Hemet and body cameras are not permitted, cameras secured to bikes are permitted.

MACHINES :-Must be clearly numbered on front and side panels (with correct colour backgrounds Green – Expert A & Expert B’s, Yellow – Clubman & Clubman B, Blue – Over 40 & Over 50, Black – Sportsman, Vinduro/pre1997 class & Electric will run on sportsman time schedule.

Engine noise must not exceed 94 dba. There will be no restriction on tyre type.

PARC FERME :-Machines must not be started or worked on in the Parc Ferme.

REFUELLING :-Will be restricted to an area designated for refuelling and will be marked by  green flags. No smoking will be permitted in or near this area. Engines must be stopped during refuelling.  All riders must provide a fire extinguisher and environmental mat.

No fuelling in parking area after the event has started.

I.D. Discs:- Must be worn giving name, date of birth and blood group if known.

Concussion :-“I undertake to notify the club of any recent (within the last 23 days) concussion injury and will produce a doctor’s note to state I am able to compete in the event” .The Doctors note to state “The rider is no longer suffering the consequences of concussion”.

PENALTIES 

No Power washing allowed at the event. Penalty – EXCLUSION !!

Exceeding walking pace in blue tape area-Exclusion

Course cutting or any other very dodgy practices – Exclusion

Smoking in refuelling area – Exclusion

  • PLEASE DO NOT DROP LITTER ANYWHERE IN THE PARKING AREAS OR ON COURSE
  • Please be respectful to our hosts, Forestry Land Scotland and the forestry and beach environs that the event will be run on.
  • Stick to the speed limit of 15mph on the forestry tracks and when passing the neighbouring properties within the forest reduce this to 5mph (it keeps the dust down and reduces noise)
  • No smoking within the forest.
  • Do not ride your bikes in the pits without helmets and only at walking pace.
  • Do not climb or ‘ride’ on the stacks of cut timber.
  • Stay out of the ‘old bothy’ derelict building at the pits.
  • Respect the militaria objects dotted around the venue (pill boxes etc)
  • No riding of machinery prior to start, follow the instructions of the Clerk of the Course
  • Please take all litter home with you, black bags can be provided.
  • Please be respectful to each other and all Club officials, remember we’re all volunteers.

 Please no riding in the parking area.
